Orders are shipped within 7 to 10 business days from the date of your order to ensure that your order is pulled and packaged properly for safe delivery.
Shipping Plants: What to Expect
When you order plants from our nursery, you can expect them to arrive in the best possible condition. Our team carefully packs each order using sturdy, biodegradable packaging materials.
The appearance of your plants may vary depending on the season and their current stage of growth. We may cut back the leafy growth of some plants to prepare them for shipment and transplanting.
5 Gallon and Up: Any plant purchased to ship over 5 Gallons will be shipped bare root. This means we will remove the plant from its original pot, remove the soil surrounding the roots, and wrap the roots with a biodegradable plastic bag. This reduces weight and the likelihood of damage during shipping.
Once your plants arrive, it is essential to plant them as soon as possible. This will help them rebound and thrive. If you cannot plant immediately, water regularly and keep the roots off heat-conducting surfaces.
Newly transplanted plants often require more water until their roots are well established. Plan to water them 1-3 times weekly for the first few months.
Replacement & Refund Policy
Shipping and delivery costs are non-refundable. There is a 15% restocking fee for any canceled order.
Nursery Purchases & Shipped Orders
We guarantee our plants are healthy and will arrive in transplantable condition. If your order does not meet expectations upon arrival, please contact us! Email info@native-gardeners.com within 24 hours of delivery. Provide photos to help us determine the nature of the problem. We are here to help you get your plants thriving.
When appropriate, a one-time replacement will be given. However, we cannot be responsible for damage to plants caused by animals, extraordinary weather or improper care.
Local Pickup
Cancellation of an order placed for Local Pickup will result in a 15% restocking fee. The customer has two weeks to pick up the order unless other arrangements have been agreed upon with our nursery manager.
Local Delivery
Orders placed for Local Delivery will arrive within one week. Cancellation or returning the order will result in a 15% restocking fee. An additional delivery fee will be applicable if Pickup is requested for return.
