Penstemon parryi

Also known as Desert Penstemon, this hummingbird favorite features long spikes of magenta pink, bell-shaped flowers in clusters at the end of stalks. Paired leaves are pale green and arrow-shaped. I loved butterflies as well! It withstands extreme temperatures and does well with little water. Plant in full sun to filter shade and provide good drainage. It reseeds readily. This plant does great in xeriscape gardens.
