Hesperaloe parviflora 'Desert Dusk'

Desert Dusk Red Yucca produces impressive spikes of burgundy, bell-shaped flowers with gold centers that appear above the foliage from early to late spring. Its attractive, succulent, grassy leaves are grayish-green, and the foliage often turns burgundy in the fall. In late fall, it produces khaki (brownish-green) capsules.

This herbaceous evergreen perennial has a shapely form and gracefully arching foliage, adding delicate texture to garden compositions. It is suitable for planter containers or a waterwise garden bed.

This plant requires relatively low maintenance and is best cleaned up in early spring before it starts active growth. It is an excellent choice for attracting hummingbirds to your yard.
