Prickly Pear 'Kelly's Choice'

This evergreen beavertail cactus hybrid grows to 3-4 ft and has the rounded soft pads of Opuntia basilaris but the upright form and purple tinting of Opuntia santa-rita. It produces bright pink flowers in mid- to late spring. Once established, it is drought tolerant, but it prefers dry conditions in winter.
