Chilopsis linearis' Bubba'
The Desert Willow is a beautiful tree that requires minimal care and adds beauty to the landscapes in the southwestern region all year long. Even in winter, when it's bare, the tree has an attractive architectural silhouette. Its abundant, fragrant, orchid-like flowers attract hummingbirds and butterflies.
The 'Bubba' cultivar is remarkably resilient and strong, with exceptional heat, drought, and cold resistance. Its broader and greener leaves give it a fuller appearance than other desert willow cultivars. Despite its long blooming season, 'Bubba' produces fewer seed pods than other varieties.
