Phlox subulata x stolonoifera 'Paparazzi Jagger'
Phlox is a delightful genus with about 70 species, mostly hailing from North America, known for their stunning, eye-catching flowers. The Paparazzi Series includes a charming collection of spring-flowering hybrid phlox cultivars that typically form lovely low mounds, reaching heights of 5-10 inches. These hybrids are created by crossing unpatented varieties of Phlox subulata (the seed parent) with unpatented varieties of Phlox stolonifera (the pollen parent).
Among them, Paparazzi Jagger stands out with its dazzling late spring display of trumpet-shaped purple flowers, each adorned with darker centers. These blooms appear in delightful clusters atop the low-growing plants, which grow to about 5 inches tall and can spread up to 10 inches wide. Each flower features a long corolla tube with five flat, petal-like lobes, adding to its charm. You’ll also notice the burgundy stems and burgundy-tinted foliage in spring, bringing a touch of color to your garden. These plants are known for their vigorous growth, early flowering, extended blooming period, and resilience against powdery mildew.
They thrive in dry, sunny spots, making them a wonderful choice for rock gardens, cottage gardens, wild gardens, native plant gardens, or prairie-type areas, and they also work beautifully as edging plants.

Spring Shipping:
Orders are shipped within 7-10 business days. We will email you if there are expected delays.
When you order plants from our nursery, you can expect them to arrive in the best possible condition. Our team carefully packs each order using sturdy, biodegradable packaging materials.
Your plants' appearance may vary depending on the season and their current growth stage. We may cut back the leafy growth of some plants to prepare them for shipment and transplanting.
5 Gallon and Up: Any plant purchased to ship over 5 Gallons will be shipped bare root. This means we will remove the plant from its original pot, remove the soil surrounding the roots, and wrap the roots with a biodegradable plastic bag. This reduces weight and the likelihood of damage during shipping.
Once your plants arrive, it is essential to plant them as soon as possible. This will help them rebound and thrive. If you cannot plant immediately, water regularly and keep the roots off heat-conducting surfaces.
Newly transplanted plants often require more water until their roots are well established. Plan to water them 1-3 times weekly for the first few months.
