Rosmarinus officinalis 'Prostratus'
This delightful plant is a low-growing evergreen shrub that showcases its dense, lush foliage beautifully. It typically reaches a charming height of about 24 inches and spreads out to around 4-6 feet wide, making it a wonderful addition to any garden. Its slender, needle-like leaves are a rich green on top and a soft whitish below, adding to its charm. In late winter and throughout the year, it blooms with lovely blue flowers that are not only visually appealing but also prized for their use in seasoning food! Plus, the essential oils from these flowers find their way into perfumes, lotions, and soaps, enhancing our daily lives. Birds and bees also happily visit this plant, making it a lively part of any garden.
Prostrate rosemary can be beautifully planted on slopes, banks of all sizes, or even in containers, and it thrives wonderfully in drought-tolerant gardens. It also makes for an exquisite border plant. This resilient plant loves well-drained soils and full sun, and it can handle temperatures dipping as low as 15°F! Many gardeners enjoy shearing and trimming it to maintain its perfect size and create lovely flowing shapes that enhance the garden’s aesthetic.

Spring Shipping:
Orders are shipped within 7-10 business days. We will email you if there are expected delays.
When you order plants from our nursery, you can expect them to arrive in the best possible condition. Our team carefully packs each order using sturdy, biodegradable packaging materials.
Your plants' appearance may vary depending on the season and their current growth stage. We may cut back the leafy growth of some plants to prepare them for shipment and transplanting.
5 Gallon and Up: Any plant purchased to ship over 5 Gallons will be shipped bare root. This means we will remove the plant from its original pot, remove the soil surrounding the roots, and wrap the roots with a biodegradable plastic bag. This reduces weight and the likelihood of damage during shipping.
Once your plants arrive, it is essential to plant them as soon as possible. This will help them rebound and thrive. If you cannot plant immediately, water regularly and keep the roots off heat-conducting surfaces.
Newly transplanted plants often require more water until their roots are well established. Plan to water them 1-3 times weekly for the first few months.
