Manfreda variegata

This unusual succulent from Texas forms a clump of leaves similar to an Agave but softer and without spines. The leaves are gray-green and covered with purple spots. The leaves will generally burn to the ground in winter, but the plant quickly recovers in the spring. In late spring and summer, flower stalks with lavender to white flowers are produced. Texas Tuberose can handle full sun to full shade, but leaf spots are more pronounced in the sun.
