Andropogon glomeratus

Andropogon glomeratus is a species of grass known by the common names bushy bluestem and bushy beardgrass. This bunchgrass is native to the Americas, where it is widespread. Easily grown in medium to wet soil in full sun.

Its foliage is green in the summer and coppery bronze in the inter with fluffy flower heads in emerging in the fall. Old foliage can be cut back in late winter or early spring to maintain a tidy appearance.

Perfect for rain gardens or poor drainage areas. Its seed heads work well in dried flower arrangements.
