Horseherb

Horseherb is a shade-tolerant ground cover in the daisy family, commonly found in woodlands, meadows, and disturbed sites. It can withstand foot traffic and mowing, making it a suitable option for shady lawn areas. These bright green plants bear tiny yellow flowers from spring to summer, attracting small butterflies with their nectar.

Mix Baby Blue-eyes (Nemophila phacelioides), Widow's Tears (Commelina spp.), False Dayflower (Tinantia anomala), Violet Ruellia (Ruellia nudiflora), and sedges (Carex spp.) with cool-season spring annuals and evergreens for continuous color because they are dormant in cold winters. These are good companion plants for shady areas in central Texas.
