Malpighia punicifolia

A well-behaved, bushy shrub, this plant would be a great addition to any garden. It produces multicolored pink blooms, which are followed by bright red berries. It is evergreen up to 20 degrees and is resistant to deer. It is rich in vitamin C, and the berries attract hungry birds.
