Salvia Rosmarinus

Salvia Rosmarinus, better known as rosemary, is a lovely evergreen shrub that features gray-green, needle-like leaves and charming little flowers that can range from pale blue to white. Typically, it grows to a height of about 4-6 feet in regions that enjoy winter hardiness. The aromatic foliage makes it a delightful addition to kitchens and homes, as it's often harvested for enhancing flavors in cooking, making toiletries, and crafting sachets. Not only is rosemary practical, but it's also visually appealing and can beautifully accent borders, herb gardens, patio spots, and foundations, whether planted directly in the ground or in containers that can be brought indoors during the colder months. This wonderful plant originates from the dry scrub and rocky landscapes of the Mediterranean, spanning southern Europe to western Asia.

The leaves are slender, linear, and needle-like, usually measuring around 1.5 inches long. They grow closely along the stems and release a wonderfully aromatic and flavorful scent. The tiny flowers, which bloom in delightful clusters along the shoots from the previous year, typically appear from January to April in USDA Zones 8-10. You might even see some sporadic blooms in the summer or fall, especially if you give the plants a little trim from late winter to spring. Not only are the flowers beautiful, but they're also a favorite for bees, butterflies, and other cheerful pollinators.

Spring Shipping:
Orders are shipped within 7-10 business days. We will email you if there are expected delays.

When you order plants from our nursery, you can expect them to arrive in the best possible condition. Our team carefully packs each order using sturdy, biodegradable packaging materials.

Your plants' appearance may vary depending on the season and their current growth stage. We may cut back the leafy growth of some plants to prepare them for shipment and transplanting.

5 Gallon and Up: Any plant purchased to ship over 5 Gallons will be shipped bare root. This means we will remove the plant from its original pot, remove the soil surrounding the roots, and wrap the roots with a biodegradable plastic bag. This reduces weight and the likelihood of damage during shipping.

Once your plants arrive, it is essential to plant them as soon as possible. This will help them rebound and thrive. If you cannot plant immediately, water regularly and keep the roots off heat-conducting surfaces.

Newly transplanted plants often require more water until their roots are well established. Plan to water them 1-3 times weekly for the first few months.
