A lovely semi-evergreen shrub in the Texas Sage family with lavender blooms that flowers more often than most other varieties and is not as dependent on humidity to flower. That's why it's affectionately known as 'Lynn's Everblooming' in Texas!
Lynn Lowery, a remarkable plant enthusiast from East Texas, hand-picked this selection of Texas Rangers. He chose this particular clone for its impressive and abundant flower displays. These flowers attract many pollinators, especially bumblebees.
It reaches a delightful height and width of about 5 feet, featuring a lush, rounded shape. The sage green leaves provide a gorgeous backdrop for the vibrant lavender flowers. A tough, low maintenance hedge and can even stand up to intense, reflective heat. While this shrub is a sun lover, it will tolerate light shade.
Provide a well drained soil and water regularly during the first growing season to establish a deep, extensive root system. Once established, water deeply and infrequently during summer months. Prune during cool months as needed.

When you order plants from our nursery, you can expect them to arrive in the best possible condition. Our team carefully packs each order using sturdy, biodegradable packaging materials.
Your plants' appearance may vary depending on the season and their current growth stage. We may cut back the leafy growth of some plants to prepare them for shipment and transplanting.
5 Gallon and Up: Any plant purchased to ship over 5 Gallons will be shipped bare root. This means we will remove the plant from its original pot, remove the soil surrounding the roots, and wrap the roots with a biodegradable plastic bag. This reduces weight and the likelihood of damage during shipping.
Once your plants arrive, it is essential to plant them as soon as possible. This will help them rebound and thrive. If you cannot plant immediately, water regularly and keep the roots off heat-conducting surfaces.
Newly transplanted plants often require more water until their roots are well established. Plan to water them 1-3 times weekly for the first few months.

Beautiful blooms and great progress after planting them about a year ago. I covered them with shrub wrap over the coldest parts of the winter to keep them protected for their first winter. Grateful I got them!
This variety of sage carries a Texas Superstar designation and is hard to find. I was very happy to find a 5 gallon size at this online store and I ordered two bushes to be shipped for the crazy price of $175 (including shipping). I thought I would get two large 5 gallon bushes for that price. You can see in the picture that I got two tiny bushes squished in one small UPS box, with root balls packed in bags. This is my last order from this store.
so far so good, they are still in pots ( too hot to plant now).

This was my first visit to this Nursery, but I went because they could tell me they had what I was looking for and listed the price. I am 70 years old on a fixed income. I lost all my shrubs back during snowmageddon and have just had daisies and cosmos and zinnias growing since then while I did research to find something I liked that I could afford and didn't require a lot of water. The plants all survived the long ride back to Mesquite and the Sage has been blooming like crazy since I put them in the ground. I think they like it here.

The plant came in great shape and it was planted yesterday and this morning it's perked right up. Put a good amount of water after planting but disconnected the drip so I can control the amount of water. Looking forward to it blooming. 😁

I was ready for it when it arrived and planted it immediately. It is in the ground and doing well. Thanks for the lovely plant.
It arrived ok were but a bit bent over. I planted it and there has been no new growth. I think it is still alive but we will see. I plan on mulching it tonight.
This is the 4th or 5th one I’ve purchased from you. One didn’t make it. Two look really good. This one was pretty bent over when I opened the box. I straightened it out and got it in the ground. There was a root that had broken in the box, so I’ve propped it up and cut back some longer limbs. I’ll baby it for a few months. I love the bush and looking forward to spring.

Can't say much at the time as I just got them. They have been potted up, and are under shade cloth acclimating to this climate (hot and dry!). They looked good as I pulled them from the box....the balls (compacted soil containing the roots) on most were broken up...I guess that is the reason they are shipped "bare root", yes? I will know how they'll do in a week or so. Thanks for getting me these babies! I am looking forward to seeing them in the garden.
