Ericameria laricifolia

The Turpentine Bush is a flowering shrub belonging to the daisy family. It grows in desert scrub and woodland environments. Its aromatic needlelike leaves are covered with a sticky resin that gives off a turpentine-like scent. 

During the fall season, masses of showy yellow daisy-like flowers are produced at the branch tips, adding to its beauty. After flowering, scruffy-looking tan seed heads appear, which can be pruned off for a more refined appearance. To ensure proper growth, plant the Turpentine Bush in full sun and well-draining soil, while being careful not to overwater it.
