Tecoma stans 'Orange Jubilee'

The 'Orange Jubilee' leaves showcase a beautiful, deep, glossy green color that really stands out. The flowers are a lovely orange, with long, tubular, bell-shaped blossoms that add a cheerful touch to any garden. While it's usually considered semi-evergreen, in Texas, it tends to drop its leaves in winter. But don’t worry—it bounces back wonderfully in the spring unless there’s an extremely cold winter. If winter does not freeze it to the ground, it's a good idea to give it a little trim to about 3 inches to promote even fuller growth.

This delightful shrub grows quickly and loves basking in the full, hot sun. It's perfect for areas with southwestern exposure that enjoy lots of reflected heat. The 'Orange Jubilee' is versatile and can thrive in various soil types, growing to heights of over 10 feet and spreading 6 feet wide. Plus, it’s very forgiving when it comes to water needs, making it a fantastic low-maintenance choice for any gardener.

In North Texas, you can expect the Esperanza to reach a maximum height of about 5 to 6 feet, making it a wonderful addition to your landscape.

Spring Shipping:
Orders are shipped within 7-10 business days. We will email you if there are expected delays.

When you order plants from our nursery, you can expect them to arrive in the best possible condition. Our team carefully packs each order using sturdy, biodegradable packaging materials.

Your plants' appearance may vary depending on the season and their current growth stage. We may cut back the leafy growth of some plants to prepare them for shipment and transplanting.

5 Gallon and Up: Any plant purchased to ship over 5 Gallons will be shipped bare root. This means we will remove the plant from its original pot, remove the soil surrounding the roots, and wrap the roots with a biodegradable plastic bag. This reduces weight and the likelihood of damage during shipping.

Once your plants arrive, it is essential to plant them as soon as possible. This will help them rebound and thrive. If you cannot plant immediately, water regularly and keep the roots off heat-conducting surfaces.

Newly transplanted plants often require more water until their roots are well established. Plan to water them 1-3 times weekly for the first few months.
