Monarda didyma 'Jacob Cline'
Monarda 'Jacob Cline' is also known as Jacob Cline Beebalm or Jacob Cline Bergamot. It is a clump-forming perennial with vibrant red, crown-shaped flowers that bloom for weeks from mid-summer to early fall and attract many bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. The vibrant color of the flowers is complemented by the dark green, fragrant foliage.
This plant thrives best in full sun or partial shade in moist but well-drained soil. To encourage new blooms, it's best to deadhead spent flowers. Monarda is fast-growing and can be divided every three years. It is also resistant to deer and rabbits.
