The 'Orange Jubilee' leaves are deep, glossy green, and bright. The flowers are orange, long, tubular, and bell-shaped. It's considered semi-evergreen, but in Texas, it usually loses its leaves in the winter. However, it will grow in the spring unless it's a freezing winter. If it doesn't freeze to the ground, it's recommended to prune it to about 3 inches to encourage fuller growth.

This shrub grows fast and thrives in full, hot sun. It's suitable for southwestern exposure with lots of reflected heat. 'Orange Jubilee' can handle various soil types and grow to over 10 feet tall and 6 feet wide. It doesn't need much water and is a low-maintenance plant option.

In North Texas, the Esperanza will only reach a max height of 5'-6'.
